The Red kidney bean also known as the 'chilli bean' which resembles kidneys for its dark red skin and shape. Kidney beans comes in two sizes, one twice as large as the other, the smaller variety are also used but more in Caribbean-Mexican dishes. Kidney beans are very high and an excellent source of molybdenum, a half cup providing almost half of the daily necessity.
There are many varieties of beans, and cultured worldwide. It is a plant that can be consumed in many forms. Preparing paste from the bread is excellent ingredient for salads, works as a main component dinner, and also for breakfast. Red kidney beans are very hard in nature. So, before making any tasty Indian food with kidney beans, first it has to be cooking separately. Wash and soak the Red kidney beans in surplus water overnight (or at least 5 hours). Place them in a pressure cooker (for fast cooking) or closed pan. Add some water and some Salt . Cook on high level for 10-15 minutes till the beans are soft. Now cooked soft kidney beans are ready for making delicious Indian recipe.
