Tilda Pure Basmati Rice is a classic among long-grain rices – slender, naturally long grains, selected from crops at the foot of the Himalayas, where the unique climate and soil build a characteristic nutty-floral bouquet. The grains are aged to enhance the aroma and ensure a repeatable, fluffy texture: once cooked, they remain separate, firm, and distinctly separated, making Tilda an excellent base for dishes where texture and presentation elegance matter. It works well in biryani, pilafs/pulao, curries (butter and coconut), wok dishes, stir-fries, as well as in salads with herbs and citrus, bowls with roasted vegetables and protein, or as a light, aromatic side dish for fish and seafood. Preparation method (absorption): rinse the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear (optionally soak for 15 minutes), cook on very low heat in a ratio of about 1 part rice to 1.5 parts water with a pinch of salt and fat (ghee/oil), covered for about 12–15 minutes, then let it sit for 5 minutes and fluff with a fork. In a rice cooker, select the "white/basmati" program and follow the device's recommendations. Chef's tips: for biryani, use the "parboil & dum" technique (pre-cook in salted, flavored water with bay leaf, cardamom, and clove, then layer with sauce and dry under cover); for salads, shorten cooking by 1 minute to retain more firmness. The product is a naturally gluten-free ingredient, easy to digest, and neutral in taste – it beautifully pairs with lemongrass, cardamom, cumin, saffron, lime, and fresh coriander.
