Milk Burfi Haldiram’s is a classic Indian dessert made from slowly reduced milk (khoya/mawa) and sugar, with a subtly caramelized, milky profile and a soft, slightly chewy texture reminiscent of fudge; the cubes adorned with pistachios delight with their subtle sweetness and elegant texture that melts in the mouth. The careful processing of the milk gives the burfi depth and smoothness, making it an excellent sweet finale to a meal, a gift for holidays and celebrations, or an accompaniment to afternoon tea and coffee.
