Rava Idly Mix Aachi 1 kg is a refined mix for fluffy, semolina idlis – perfect when you want South Indian flavor without long fermentation. The base of fine rava (sooji) guarantees a soft, springy texture and a delicate, slightly nutty profile that pairs well with add-ins. Preparation is quick and predictable: mix the powder with yogurt and water to a thick cream consistency, let it sit for 10–15 minutes, and just before steaming, you can add a pinch of baking soda/eno for extra lightness. Pour the batter into greased molds and steam for about 10–12 minutes – the idlis come out light, even, non-sticky, and retain moisture even after cooling. You can easily personalize the flavor with quick tempering: in ghee or oil, sauté mustard seeds, curry leaves, finely chopped green chili, optionally cashews – mix with the batter to add crunchy accents. Serve rava idli traditionally with sambar and coconut chutney, with a spoonful of ghee and podi, or in a "on the go" version for a lunchbox with yogurt and pickles.
