Naswar is a moist mixture of powdered tobacco, slaked lime (chalk), plant ash, and natural additives such as menthol, cardamom, or indigo. It is placed under the lower lip or in the cheek for several minutes to several hours, gradually releasing nicotine - providing a quick and strong effect. It is a product deeply rooted in local culture and has been used for generations by communities living in mountainous regions. The hand preparation and use of local ingredients give it a distinctive, intense aroma and unique taste. Naswar is tightly packed, ensuring its freshness and properties.
