Black Rice Nepali Mato 1kg is a whole grain, naturally dark purple grain with a deep, nutty-floral profile and a pleasant "bite," which remains fluffy and elastic after cooking; ideal for vegetable and tofu bowls, salads, stir-fries, curries, wok dishes, as well as an elegant addition to meats and fish; it works excellently in desserts with coconut milk, mango, and cardamom, and served cold in salads with citrus and herbs. Preparation method: rinse, (optionally) soak for 30–60 min; cook in a ratio of about 1:2–2.25 (rice:water) for 25–35 min on low heat covered, let stand for 10 min and fluff with a fork (in a rice cooker, select the whole grain rice program). The natural color comes from the presence of anthocyanins; the whole grain retains aroma and nutritional values, well absorbs coconut milk, ginger, lemongrass, lime, and soy sauces. Plant-based product, suitable for vegans; no artificial additives. Store in a dry, cool, and shaded place, in a tightly closed container, away from moisture and strong odors; before use, check the label for batch information and any potential cross-allergens.
