Le Phare Du Cap Bon Hot Chili Harissa Paste 87% is a classic Tunisian harissa with a high chili pepper content, prized for its intense heat, deep, smoky-garlic aroma, and clean, pasty consistency. It's made according to a tradition cultivated since 1946: ripe chilies are ground with garlic, spices, and a pinch of salt and oil, allowing the paste to perfectly distribute flavor in dishes. Versatile in the kitchen: a teaspoon will add heat to soups, stewed vegetables, stews, and tomato sauces; it works well as a marinade base for lamb, poultry, and pork (harissa contains salt, acid, and fat), as well as in yogurt dips, sandwiches, couscous, pasta, or as a spicy accent to roasted vegetables and eggs. Easily adjust the spiciness by mixing the harissa with olive oil, yogurt, or tahini. Efficient – a small amount is enough to add a distinctive flavor and a slightly smoky finish to dishes.
