The Suhana story began in 1962, when husband and wife duo, Shri. Hukmichand Chordia and Late Smt. Kamalbai Hukmichand Chordia really had no idea how far their tiny venture born from compulsion would carry them and two generations of their family (so far) to follow.

Suhana lentil flour papads are a classic Indian snack made from urad dal – black lentils (also known as udad/urad/udid). These thin, crispy pancakes are known by many names: papad, pappad, poppadom or poppudum, and are an inseparable element of Indian meals, especially in southern and western India. Suhana papads can be prepared in several ways – fry in oil, bake on the fire or even heat in the microwave – in any form they retain their unique taste and crunchiness. Their aromatic structure, delicately spiced, makes them an ideal addition to main dishes (e.g. dal, curry), but also as a stand-alone snack with chutney or dip. The product does not contain artificial preservatives, and its simple composition is based on a traditional recipe. Thanks to this, these papads are a natural and authentic element of Indian cuisine, ideal for both gourmets and those discovering the flavors of Asia. Suhana papads are gluten-free, suitable for vegetarians and vegans. A 200g pack is a practical amount for home use - whether for everyday meals or special occasions. Information for allergy sufferers: The product was manufactured in a facility that processes nuts, milk, sesame, wheat, mustard, soy and celery - caution is recommended in case of hypersensitivity to these ingredients.
