Dahi vada is a type of chaat (snack) originating from the Indian subcontinent. They are prepared by soaking vadas (fried lentil balls) in thick dahi (yoghurt).

Preparation:

1. Mix the contents of the package with 250 ml of water until smooth. Set aside for 10 minutes. You can add ginger or green chili pepper to the dough.

2. Gently mix the mass. Deep fry the batter in deep oil until golden brown. Fry on medium heat.

3. Soak the fried and slightly cooled balls in water for 10 minutes. Squeeze the water out of the balls.

4. Prepare yogurt. Sprinkle with ground cumin, red chilli powder, salt, coriander leaves, tamarind juice. Place the balls in the yogurt mixture and set aside for 10 minutes. Serve chilled.

Ingredients: lentil flour, wheat flour, vegetable oil, salt, raising agents, citric acid, powdered cumin, antioxidant E-320.
