Bajji Bonda Mix GRB is a quick base for crispy, golden snacks from southern India—bajji (vegetable slices in batter) and bonda (batter balls). How to use: pour the mix into a bowl, gradually add water to achieve a thick cream consistency, and let it sit for 5–10 minutes. Cut vegetables (potato, onion, eggplant, chili pepper, cauliflower, raw banana/plantain) into slices or pieces, coat them in the batter, and fry in batches in oil at 170–180°C until deep golden. For bonda, scoop small portions of batter with a spoon (you can fill them with onion, green chili, curry leaves). Serve hot with coconut/mint chutney, ketchup, or sambar. Tips: for extra crunchiness, add a bit of rice flour or a few drops of hot oil to the batter; do not overcrowd the pan—maintain a stable temperature.
