Momo's Masala is a flavourful blend of steaming hot momos.


Veg Momos recipe:

-1cup/100g cabbage, finely chopped

-2 medium/130g carrot, finely chopped

-1 large/70g capsicum, finely chopped

-2 medium/100g onion, finely chopped

-2tbsp/1g garlic, finely chopped

-1/2 tsp black pepper powder

-2tbsp/15g Suhana Momo's Masala

-2tsp oil

-1/2 cup/100ml water

For garnishing: 2tbsp spring onion, chopped.

For outer cover: 2 cup/300g refined flour, 4tbsp oil, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 1/4 cup/200-250ml water


Heat 2 tbsp oil, add garlic saute for a minute. Add onions finely chopped saute foe 2-3minutes on medium flame.

Add finely chopped vegetables cabbage, carot, capsicum, and stir fry the vegetsbles on medium flame for 1-2 minutes.

Add 2tbsp Shana Momo's Masala salt as per taste, black pepper, and mix well. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes on low flame or till vegetables are cooked well. Switch off flame & add sprin onion. Keep it aside.


For outer cover:

Mix the refined flour, salt to taste, oil and knead into smooth dough. Cover the dough and rest it for 15-20 minutes.

Divide he dough into 15-20 equal portions and make smooth balls. Roll into 4" thin circles.

Take a round, slightly wet the edges with water and place some filling in the centre. Bring edges together to cover the filling.

Twist to seal and fill the rest in the same way. Grease the steamer tray with oil and arrange shaped momos on it.

Steam cook them for 6-8 minutes or till the outer layer looks shiny, transparent and by touch it doesn't feel sticky. Serve hot with chilli sauce.
